Noir story from Verona!

The man in white, who here appears to be photographing a statue in one hostel’s park in Verona, is in fact a private detective. His wife and his daughter have been missing for a couple of days. Director of the hostel where they stayed told him they have signed out early in the morning a week ago, but have forgotten a Kodak snapshot camera and a notebook.

He opened the notebook and saw a to-do list. Five items, all crossed-out heavily. Number six said:
“Half-winged statue in the old fountain. This might be it.”

Hmmm… this might be it? Be what? And why is it crossed-out?

The first hostel on our trip to Arles was in Menton, south of France. (which should be somewhere around here) It’s inside of a camp, with plenty of trees and a beautiful view. Fifteen minutes of steep walk from the beach was not something everyone was delighted about, though.

Expect some more photos from the trip…

Searching for our hostel in Verona, by night. Think it’s funny? Think again, there was a psycho-killer-movie plot there.

(or at least that’s how I captured it! :)

Greetings from Menton!
(yes, I was at the beach, taking photos with frontal flash!)

Greetings from Arles!

I’ve brought you some veggies, only the highest quality.
