Hot topic: radioactive cloud flew over Serbia. A journalist from our magazine is working on the story of radiation, and you guess it—my job was to go to a market and get something with vegetables, like this poor salad.
Which reminds me of a story I heard from people living on the border with Romania, how every time wind blows a bit harder from across the Danube, there’s radioactive dust coming along. Allegedly, uranium from a nearby mine was improperly disposed of—in a sand pit or something.
But that couldn’t be true, right? I mean, with this EU standards thing…
Yesterday I came across this caravan-camp at Silver lake in Veliko Gradište. I was amazed to see probably more than 150 caravan trailers at one place. Owners pay annual fee to park their trailers, (water and electricity included) and then come for holidays.
Except that this looks so abandoned. Almost like a caravan scrap yard.
Apparently, people do come for holidays. Trust me, I’ll be there to photograph it, this is just a sketch.
