I honour you today with a preview of what will one day be a real, printed and stamped project. Postcards from Belgrade (and possibly, Postcards from Serbia) in a retro-70s-80s look. Contemporary subjects, but photographed in a silly retro way. City Parlament building which is obviously being the subject of this postcard, but actually put to background, with trees in it’s way. Most elements are not composed “properly”, but in a take-a-snapshot kind of a way. Plus the colours.
Then, if you think about it, it’s a stupid subject. Does your mom care about some city parlament building in a God-foresaken country? But there are more to come: parks, squares, “important” buildings, rivers etc.
If you happen to have such photos, or would like to join the project, contact me.
Design is just a lame draft, while the official design will be by The Design Goddess, Jovana Tokić. Our plan is to print it out and send as postcards to our friends in Belgrade. Isn’t that ingenious?
