Rovinj Photodays festival, Croatia.
I was in a larger group of photographers, collectively travelling from Belgrade to Rovinj, in the organization of ReFoto magazine. (for which I occasionally write) The festival went nice, though some exhibitions were just too boring for my taste. Popular photography, I call it. Being a small touristic city on the sea, I didn’t expect much more, though.
Crowds of elderly German tourists, fancy accommodation, a nice beach, and suspiciously pleasant waitresses. Oh, and a rare, concealed nationalistic spark. Rovinje!
