Studio photography genius: Gregoire Alexandre →
One of the finest studio photographers I’ve seen! Just take a look at his port. All images are real-life scenes, not digital composites. And I might even have a chance to meet him at Rencontres Arles, which could be a challenge since I’m not attending the workshops.
EDIT: I am going to meet Gregorie at his new book presentation, but I’m not sure if we’ll have enough time...

A terrible wakeup
Two days ago, a terrible thunder strikes awoke me early in the morning. They were so intense and so close, that I was sure it was some kind of bombing. I clearly heard three or four “explosions”, immediately jumped at my window, totally frightened.
Now, I never think of bombings when I hear petards (even the “dynamite” ones), fireworks or whatever, but this was so extreme!...

Blog make-up
I’ve been working on some blog make-up, if you haven’t noticed. The header now has black background, which kinda gives more of a “photo” atmosphere. I’ve added a strip of “recent cool photos”, which is done through Tumbler API. I might even write a short how-to about that. Currently, it only shows three photos, but that will auto-update when I upload more...

New business card brainstorming...
Thinking of a good business card design. I need some nice ones in Arles. Not sure what’d be the purpose of those, except for people to simply come to my website/blog. Or maybe someone hires me to do a world-wide campaign?
